I think if you work for a bigger firm, it is not your company. If your work is fast or slow, good or mediocre, and you still earn at the same rate, many just roll along and pick up their wages each month.

I've found this time and time again over the years.
This is a small local high street shop , been here 25 years.
I rang the owner he's coming to check.

Thank you all. And thanks for being such morons. If you were all rational and intelligent there would be no reason to visit CUK.

I'm a modest, average sort of chap. Japanese stuff suits me fine.
I don't have any status being a techie, except, strangely, with my local bank manager

And you expect the workman to finish the job properly now ?

Indeed not, you wouldn't fit in.

Sadly my Poles don't do floors.

And that in a nutshell is what's wrong with the country.
Hey, now come here's a chance to put your theory to the test; pretend your Germany and invest in him, say an extra £100.00 an hour. Come on, do it and do get back with the results.

Oi Mr Grumpy, why don't you get one of these: a Japanese soiled panty dispenser!

Thats because despite your rates, you are a cheap git and could have gone for the new AMG SL that was quietly released last year or a second hand DBS That would have been about the same price. That way when you got bored it would still worth basically the same as you had paid upfront due to the limited numbers on the market, unlike the piece of crap toyota that will be already 50% down on the purchase price... But money never buys sense or class it seems...
