I'd much rather have a good job than a fast but cheap one.

Start with someone like a new car, perhaps one of those small Toyota's like an Aygo ( don't worry about the recent recalls) to run about the countryside in. Then, when you get bored of that, up the ante and get a Toyota sports car and a Hyabusa. That'll keep you entertained for hours! Use your imagination, the possibilities are endless. Of course he's had his tea and fag breaks too (seems to be a chain smoker). This is from a respected local flooring firm.
Sadly my Poles don't do floors.
And that in a nutshell is what's wrong with the country.
I had the same thing done last year, new wooden floors, and used a local English tradesman. I couldn't fault his work ethic, or his work.
I think if you work for a bigger firm, it is not your company. If your work is fast or slow, good or mediocre, and you still earn at the same rate, many just roll along and pick up their wages each month.
I've found this time and time again over the years.Comment
