I was brought up not to speak ill of the dead but having been brought up in the North it's hard to forget the wreckage she left behind her.

I can almost forgive the current bunch of millionaire hoorays - at least they're only incompetent.

I was giving you the benefit of the doubt by assuming you're not a constant bore.

Didn't read the whole thread but what I don't get is why 20 odd year olds hate her when they haven't a clue about it... From what I can see in the papers nearly every single person involved in the 'parties' in the pictures weren't even old enough to vote. Am sure it has been said before but that's my tuppence worth.

This is one of the milder statements uttered by the Left since she died.
Some of the things that have been said make me ashamed to be British. Left wingers in Britain are showing how unpleasant they really are.

I can understand people hating her for what she did when she was the PM but how does that link to celebrating her death?

It is not as if her death protects us from her anymore as she had done very little of national importance for decades!

What is becoming most tiring is the supporters wheeling out the same tired old cliches all over the t'internet. The posters on here pointing the failures are on the whole backing up their points with statistics and factual data. Yet others just state the same old tripe, half of it not even backed up by the actuality. Yes she got rid of the unions, fine, no argument they had become no better than a mafia. To pretend all British industry was feckless tulipe is ingenuous, as SAS would say look at GERMANY, while Thatcher was dismantleing our export capability with no real replacement, Germany was investing in technical education and subsidising industry. Last year Germany's exports were greater than our national debt, and that's even after we bailed out the banking industry. The legacy is one of failure.
