    This!

Your best bet is to go to linked in and ask for people to recommend you some people.

If you need a PM who can WFH full time ( in cloggers) count me in laugh

I think you find when there is a recession, all the people who have been made redundant decide that contracting is the best option.

You mean you are paying the goon £500-£600, and he is paying them £200-£300. And telling you he is paying them £400-£500, giving you plausible deniability. You're not the first in this position to show surprise. "Why are all the engineers in the world so rubbish? I can't understand it!"

Why not do some digging of your own as bobspud says. Wait, let me guess. It's because you don't "have the time" to do all the wonderfully useful filtering that the agents do. You would rather spend the time interviewing the next five bobs they send you. How enjoyable.

I'd recommend you stop doing that thicko as it keeps going horribly wrong.

I've managed to get 3 offers out in the last two days. Two contractors and one permie. And I have another perm starting next week!

                Three more left to go...
