    Of course not.

But last time the Tories got the previous Labour mess fixed, they got voted out (1997). The prols don't like the economy being fixed. It hurts a little and might restrict their benefits.

Seems like every party wants to do nothing (*) but increase benefits for fear of being voted out.

Oh and p!ss away billions on the NHS, just to keep on topic

We have free healthcare and expensive education. We'd get a better class of immigrant if it was the other way around.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

For most end users it's heavily subsidised by others.

I do think people would be less inclined to get incredibly pissed and hurt themselves if it was going to cost them £250 to turn up to A&E. That would ease a lot of the burden.

Nope, people who do that will continue as they know that they'll get treatment anyway even if they don't pay.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

I'd make insurance compulsory, and forcibly enrol those who failed to chose themselves. Deduct payment from wages or benefits, and put in a sensible excess for 'stupidity' related treatments. They would pay.
