While it is debatable whether this will help you get the role (I think it does help) it will be invaluable to finding out how they are perceiving your CV.
Wait for them to say "But your last role was not a BA role therefore you're not a BA", and then you'll know they're dumbasses, and it's time to make "constructive" changes to the CV hrr hmm..
