    8:1 on a two-horse race is usually worth a punt, but I'd want more than that to join you in this match.

    England to win, Wales to break their year-long duck, but there might be a surprise in Italy - France are due one of their inexplicable disasters.
    England have little pace in the back three. Their centres are not particularly powerful. I know Twelvetrees is big but he doesnt punch his weight and has limited pace. He can distribute but to who?
    Farrell can kick but he offers little as an attacker and his passing is ordinary.
    Scrum halves are even
    Front row without Corbisero offers little for scotland to worry about. Marler will spend all afternoon picking fights and collapsing the scrum.
    Second Row Scotland are as good as England (but bigger) and back rows are even.

    Throw in a wet muddy day and Scotlands bigger players in the second row and centre it is game set and match to the Jockos unless of course they revert to type and choke

      Chris Ashton's no slouch.

          Where were all these players while Scotland were getting thrashed in all the autumn internationals?

              I'm not convinced about this;

              I rather liked Stuart Lancaster's non-nonsense approach as opposed to MJ's whistles and bells and pseudo-psychological profiling. I trust some of the forwards will take this with the pinch of salt it deserves.

                I've got to take my son to see England v France. Another wasted afternoon surrounded by a bunch off pissed up toffs while a group of men try to snatch a ball off each other, run for a bit and then have yet another group cuddle!

                Can't wait!
                Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                I preferred version 1!

                  I'm not sure what's good or bad about this. The article only really mentions a list of calls and plays to learn in their own time, which can be easily updated with alerts if Scotch spies find any out.

                  The impression I got from MJ's time was that England fell into the trap of meta-coaching (the babble you talk about), emphasising the processes instead of the practicalities, but this doesn't seem to be like that.

                      Yes, forwards are expected to learn moves these days. That was never a strong point of mine.
