That 5/8 for Italy was great, Orquera.

Best match so far, because it was close throughout.

Yep, good game, very tough battle; France didn't seem to have any ideas and panicked while Italy have gained a few top class backs to add to what was always a very good pack. Parisse was immense, McLean was creative, even sublime at times, Castrogiovanni and Lo Cicero were on top form again. Italy could cause problems for everyone this year; maybe to early to call them championship contenders but on that form I think they'll win a couple of games, especially if they sort out the discipline in the last 10 minutes.

Well, the Scots did well to keep the gap down to 20 points.

Whose commission did dodgy's £30 come out of?

Was Bennett better than The King? I only caught the tail end of the latter's career.

What, shirtlifters? Stick them on the wing.

The impression I got from MJ's time was that England fell into the trap of meta-coaching (the babble you talk about), emphasising the processes instead of the practicalities, but this doesn't seem to be like that.
