Lots of nesting activity until a few days ago, but seems the box has been taken over by bumblebees. Haven't seen the tits in there for a couple of days, so guess it's going to be a no-go. Not sure how much entertainment the bees will provide.
We've got two nesting pairs of blue tits at the moment. One pair in a box by the back wall, the other pair in a gap behind the brickwork at the front of the house. When we groom the cats we tuck the fur we remove on top of the bird feeders so the birds can pull it out and use it for their nests.

Not sure what 'ours' is - will try and get some clearer pics.
I was looking up bumblebee species yesterday as we have a huge bugger flying in and out of a small hole in the garden wall, it got trapped in the kitchen and as I rescued it I got a good look at it and it appears to be a Queen red tailed bumblebee looking for a possible nest site. I'm excited that we may get a bees nest in the garden
I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

I was toying with the idea of keeping bees...honey and all that
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think
