It's not a change. It's just a change to something which isn't being changed, therefore I don't need to follow the change management process, because even though it's a change requiring a 20 hour data load and modifying 30 drop-down fields, it's an actual change....

To answer the original question: Go back 20 years and start saving 10% of your income. Invest it in stock market index funds and you have over a million today. It works, believe me.
