The kid was British. (It's all over the radio news.)Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostI am not up to this internet thing.
Going back to my point why does it matter that the girl is British? Clearly to the reporters of the story it does matter and I am afraid that it also matters to the rest of us. It is therefore not unreasonable to ask that if she is British then why is she not like every other British 8 year old and busy attending school in Britain?
She was at school in Jamaica.
Schools do allow in special circumstances for kids to go on an extended holiday, do theatre performances, take parts in films etc if the child is still being taught to the same level elsewhere."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

I love the fact that Jamaica is so laid back its senior police officials give interviews dressed in football shirts

Breaking news articles often change as information is obtained by the reporters. That snippet of info may well not have been there when it was originally linked.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostThe article did explain it though. You could have read it.Comment
