    If my approach works for you as it does for me, you will realise Business Class is a waste of money. I'm asleep for most of the flight-I just need the extra leg room that premium economy gives. If you go Economy - travel long haul in the week instead of weekend - you will often find adjacent seats empty.

    btw, you can't smoke in business class can you?

      Find two timezones that are as far apart as possible. Then get acclimatised in one of them, then fly to the other timezone. I hear this is brilliant for jet lag.

        Try working in England and living in Wales - I have to deal with a timezone change of 30 years every weekend.
