That amounts to government interference in business, and that won't be something that encourages investment in the UK. Who decides what's an acceptable branding fee in your scenario? Will work inside IR35. Or for food. -
IMO best way is to just make branding fees non tax deductible. If companies want to setup here then they should pay tax.Comment

DoesOriginally posted by zeitghostI thought that too, until I had the opportunity.
Which, oddly enough, I grasped with both hands.
As it were.

I don't smoke and that's (still) legal; similarly I wouldn't do pot or LSD or speed or ... if they were legalised. And I've no idea if prostitution is legal or not but I wouldn't do that either (from either side!)Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

This which are legal which I would not do:
I would not cheat on my wife (have had that tested by two different 'friends' of hers - although not at the same time).
When I was single I did wouldn not touch with a girl if she was the girlfriend of a friend. If her boyfriend was not a mate then she was still fair game, that was his problem.
I do not use training sessions to disguise hurting people (the old 'oops sorry, I misjudged that'). If you have ever done martial arts you have probably met people like this, I strongly dislike it.
I try to minimise the amount of times I lie or fail to do what I say I am going to do.
Hmmm ... I actually thought that this list would be longer. Hopefully I am just having a mental block.Comment
