Maybe I should book some place right now for Christmas 2013. Suggestions?
    Snap!
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Nearly every year I buy Christmas cards but never send any so I've boxes of the bloody things. Plan B...English language cards for expats at cheapo prices...

We did Christmas in the sun one year, it just didn't feel right, it sounds cliche, but unless you go somewhere you are guaranteed snow I'd give it a miss

We try and alternate Xmas here with family, and then Xmas away.

As for it not feeling like Xmas, I would have thought that one of the main attractions.

          Choices:
Caribbean - We love it here, any of the islands, although would possibly skip Haiti and Jamaica. Some of the Hispanic/Catholic ones will shut down for the actual dates, so make sure you have adequate food and drink (AI).

Sri Lanka - Possibly my favourite place to go at anytime, as it's awesome, although getting touristy now. Head north and you'll have a ball. Poya will be sometime over your stay and that's quite special.

Aus - A lot of fun, an awful lot of fun. Same for NZ.

Went to SA in the 80's, but wouldn't have a clue what it was like now.

2013 we're back off to St Lucia which we think one of the nicest islands out that way.
