A colleague of mine during the nineties was asked to invest 2k in a band and refused.

They where from Manchester and called 'Oasis'...

I got tired of playing in bands, too many tulipe songs, too many tulipe lyrics written by tits who cannot sing who want to express their gloom.

Also it is easy for guitarists to ramp it up to 11, being a drummer you have to put in a shift to keep up with the volume, after 3 hours in a studio you would be punted. After an hour the arms would be gone.

Was watching the Michael Jackson Bad show the other night and the drummer was saying keeping a shuffle going for 9 minutes is tough. damn right it is.
