Actually I do know most of the circumstances because I once worked with the OP

He made a genuine mistake some time back, and has now sadly lost his MPS clearance as a result.

Really though, this has to be seen as a blessing in disguise. The MPS is a fairly boring place to work, the canteen is rubbish, and the toilets are worse. I also have no doubt the OP will have little problem finding a newer/better contract elsewhere.

We know all of the circumstances you provided. You were convicted of driving without insurance by your own admission. If it was good enough for plod to think you're unreliable then it's good enough for me.
