My money on the whole Hank/Walt coming together so early is that they will be forced to work together as Lydia kidnaps Skylar, the coat that Walt wears in the flash forward is Jessie's so he Pinkman is going to die

Not sure if I'm missing something but the flashforward at the start of the series shows him at Denny's and it's his 52 birthday. Hank finds the GB book around the time of Walt's 51st birthday. So they are going to have to cover an entire year, during which Walt will recover from cancer (since he has hair in the flashforwards)

Yep, that sounds about right. Although, I think there's a gap of at least a month between Walter's 51st birthday and Hank finding the book because he tells Jesse that he's been out of the business for over a month. Not sure about the 2nd cancer recovery though.

I can definitely see Lydia being a problem at some point. She's ruthless even if she doesn't have the stomach to see any bodies. Walt is obviously back to take care of something, (using ricin and a machine gun), and I wouldn't be surprised if it's her.

Interesting that the house had Heisenberg graffiti-ed everywhere. I assume that means it becomes common knowledge who he is.

Yeah, and Carol next door seemed a little surprised to see him.
