So 17% permies, 3% mods, estimated 70% sockies, leaves me, gingerjedi, NickFitz, and Suityou01 () as real contractorsmerely at clientco for the entertainmentComment

I was offered a permie role the other day for £75k + bens and couldnt take it, just couldn't face the loss of earnings, and the thought of going permie again, makes me shudder; I don't think I could do it.
The one thing I have learned about contracting is not to panic as something will always come along. It also makes you more confident as you get so used to selling yourself every 12-18 months; you lose that in permiedom and get slack.Comment
