    Sorry they are working class.

yes its tight, no its not right, but to fix it you need to realise cutting benefits, government expenditure & tax avoidance by multi nationals needs to be brutal.
And might I venture to suggest, without wishing to promote socialism, that there is something of an imbalance in the rewards for jobs at the top and the bottom of many organisations? And that that is contributing to the slump in consumer spending, as spending from wages has been substituted by spending from credit? That perhaps the management classes have taken a little too much while giving rather too little?

No, MTT, you're obviously a communist.

It is I love it when I get back there for the weekend, the cheese is phenomenal the Swiss can keep theirs

Dutch cheese is heavily overrated too.

My personal favourite is Berkswell, perhaps because I lived there for a while. But Caerphilly, Lancashire, Cheshire, Wyfe of Bath, Gloucester and good Stilton, sealed in a pot, are unbeatable. I defy anyone to find better cheeses anywhere in Europe.

Although I am partial to Gorgonzola.

Definitely agree with you there, I've taken note of the others so that I remember to sample them when I'm back.

Lady Tester grew up with Dutch cheese and she finds most British cheeses too smelly and strong. Good job she doesn't think British beef is too smelly and strong.

It's very unfortunate but, I'm afraid, if you want cheap labour you have to pay for it.

A few people are like that unfortunately.
