I can tell you why this is happening. There is no young blood in the industry, almost everyone is senior. Maths and life sciences are unpopular. The traditional routes into the industry are being dropped by the Universities because of the lack of demand. There are lots of Chinese but they usually have poor communication skills.The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

Hmmm, sort of mirrors what my mate was saying. But I think it is also a specific German and Swiss problem - they don't seem to be bringing through the right sorts of grads.
