I didn't mean it like that.

I meant you kept at it, whereas I didn't.

France gave Australia a right shafting.

Now watch them lose to Argentine next week.

France were impressive; looked almost like the 80s/90s. I was half expecting the commentator to roll off the names of the past, as in 'Camberabero, Charvet, Esteve, Lagisquet, Blanco! BLANCO!'

Aus let France get going in the first 10 minutes; do that and you're finished.

Strangely, the BBC reports this morning kept going on about the Northern Hemisphere taking a battering, apart from England.

Where do the BBC think France is?

Perhaps they wrote the story on Friday before going to the pub.

Agreed. Could be worth putting a couple of quid on that one.
                Keeping calm. Keeping invoicing.

Did people who saw France watch on ESPN? As far as I know that was the only channel the game was on, but I didn't realise they had any subscribers.

I saw it on French TV. The frog commentators were, to put it mildly, happy.

Looking at that looks like he missed the French, NZ and Argentina games so every cloud and all that.
