Second interview on the dark side.....

Permie role, but half an hour away and a very good skills match with decent money in a management position.

Aced the first interview with HR and Ops manager - seeing same person again, but with the IT director as well.

Any second interview tips from the panel?........

In the morning you were a test analyst and suddenly in the evening you are in management ?

Nothing role specific - when I interviewed I was always looking for someone I thought I could get along with and who would fit into the team well. Never did permie interviews though, there is obviously a greater incentive not to be stuck with a duffer in that situation. Sounds like you've passed the 'decent chap' hurdle already though so good luck!

Now all you need is blonde hair and big tits and you'll sail it!

But this is the dark side, agents are treacherous, menacing, universally despised, bigger ships than yow etc. We are the 'Boba Fett's', cool, calculating mercenary but ultimately under the thumb of the dark lords.

                  It's happened to me before.

I was kept waiting for 45 minutes, some live issue which seemed to be the norm.

Employees were looking forlorn, company seems to have no long term plan.

They need my help, badly. If the IT director agrees with the ops manager that I am the person for the job.

Expecting to hear from two roles next week, but am really not sure if the negative energy vibes I had today are possible for even clap happy optomistic me to turn around.

If a contract I would be a pig in muck, but long term forever?......

However, I do like a challenge....... If it pays well, I will do my best for them if they take me...... Yes, beats Kilroy......
