Our household income is >150K and I still identify myself as 'working class'. No degrees in this house just a bit of luck and hard work. I was at Tate Britain last weekend to see the PRB exhibition and really felt like a fish out of water with the sheer amount of pretentious prats talking tulipe like they knew what they were on about; I despise all that elitism. I'm no better than a hard working toilet cleaner, just luckier to be mildly intelligent and had some breaks that worked out.
I thought you were studying for a Classics degree.
The material prosperity of a nation is not an abiding possession; the deeds of its people are.
Mortgage - fortnightly naked wines delivery - utilities - M&S ready meals - real food - child care (OMFG is that a killer) - big holiday 8-10K per year - toys, clothes, going out = fk knows, couldn't give a hoot, too much but all do able.
