Not quite a drunk eBay purchase, but I suggested to a very good friend a couple of years ago that we should enter a triathlon to which he enthusiastically agreed. We were at the IoW festival at the time, he 'fessed up later that what he was actually thinking was "feck me that MDMA's strong!"
