Originally posted by escapeUK View PostUltimately most people will want a car loan, a mortgage, to rent a property. At this point a credit check is always done, if one has for some silly reason decided to keep ones spending away from credit cards then there is no history of having credit and repaying it. I usually find its silly young girls who say things like "I wouldnt dream of having one" or "I had one and went mad and had to cut it up". Surely adults see it the same as money and just act accordingly? Never paid a penny of interest on mine, and I had my first one at age 18.
you are probably right there.
but people who do not live your lifestyle might have no need of credit cards, so why are they naive ??
i dont have any credit cards. never have. never will.
