Jimmy Savile 'household name' sweep

Although Sir Jimmy was so evil that that Pope himself gave him a knighthood, a pattern I see is that the very many children's TV celebs are almost absent.
That of course could mean they were better at covering it up.
The police seem to be following some sort of "X was bad, so look hard at his mates..." algorithm, which implies to me the next big spurt of revelations will be around Blue Peter, but first they must crack their way in.
From the police point of view, they want candidates who lack any sort of protection from a faith or political group or who are not rich enough to put up a serious fight. Despite the almost routine nature of "priest rapes children, church covers it up", the police cannot and will not explore links between faith and rape, so Stars on Sunday, Songs of Praise and the almost unwatched Sunday morning god-slot program staff are safe.
But as the Irish experience has shown, the police cannot cover up for Christian rapes indefinitely, so I expect the next full scale scandal is where people who've been raped by celebrity Christians come forward in enough numbers that the police must at least pretend to do something about it, whilst of course covering the fact that their policy was to apply a burden of proof for faith based rape far higher than if it's just some other scumbag. My 12 year old is walking 26 miles for Cardiac Risk in the Young, you can sponsor him hereComment

Exhibit A m'lud.
Roy Harper:Forbidden Fruit Lyrics - Lyric Wiki - song lyrics, music lyrics
Offences from nearly 40 years ago .... hmmmm, unlikely to be any hard evidence after all this time, his word against hers.
He's always been a flawed genius, maybe a bit more flawed than we thought. 'One of those days in England' is still a masterpiece. My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.Comment

Presumably its too late to jail Nabokov for Lolita and Maurice Chavalier for Thank Heaven for Little Girls?
Harper denies all the allegations and 'looks forward to clearing his name', btw.My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.Comment
