Working with loads of Barcap people at the mo. I'll IM you if I hear of something.... You been hit by the 51 week rule then? -
Thanks for the advice
I am serving my notice and so back contract hunting so I followed your advice and had a look on LinkedIn but I couldn't see any way to search for contract positions so all I ended up was a huge list of permanent vacanciesOriginally posted by Gentile View PostWSS.
I don't know whether it's just the way the market is right now, or if it's a more permanent change that's here to stay, but I've had far better results this year on LinkedIn than on the once-reliable Jobswerve. JS is just full of spam from nouveau 'agencies' that don't have a clue now, I find.
Or is there a way to search for available vacancies ~ jobserve?Comment

No - just overpaid for the work I'm doing and I think they suddenly realised thisOriginally posted by NorthWestPerm2Contr View PostWorking with loads of Barcap people at the mo. I'll IM you if I hear of something.... You been hit by the 51 week rule then?
The role was supposed to be 6 weeks and it was then made into 6 months. There isn't much more I can get my mits on round here so I'm surpluss to requirementsRule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.
I preferred version 1!Comment
