Excel access vba - currently at barcap and not fussed about location so long as it pays! I'd prefer commutable from home in Rochdale but since there is sod all up there I'll have to take whatever is going elsewhere

I don't know whether it's just the way the market is right now, or if it's a more permanent change that's here to stay, but I've had far better results this year on LinkedIn than on the once-reliable Jobswerve. JS is just full of spam from nouveau 'agencies' that don't have a clue now, I find.

I am serving my notice and so back contract hunting so I followed your advice and had a look on LinkedIn but I couldn't see any way to search for contract positions so all I ended up was a huge list of permanent vacancies

Or is there a way to search for available vacancies ~ jobserve?

No - just overpaid for the work I'm doing and I think they suddenly realised this

The role was supposed to be 6 weeks and it was then made into 6 months. There isn't much more I can get my mits on round here so I'm surpluss to requirements

Yes I found the same, would pleased for someone to enlighten me as to how to search for contracts on LinkedIn.
