in 2005, we moved to another country for a permie job as I thought it would be a great "career move".
Moved home in late 07 as we were homesick and I started contracting at that point.
Wish we'd just stayed here, and I started contracting instead of hoping I would find a good permie job.Comment

Would have taken more care with my accountants and finances. Would have not bought such a large house and would have been mortgage free by now.Comment

Would have not taken so much bulltulip and boredom in my permie job and quit about 8 years sooner.Comment

Contracting related... nothing really. More generally I'd have put our house on the market 1 year earlier (which is when my gut told me it needed to be) and sold it at a profit rather than end up stuck with it worth 2/3 what we paid for it in an area nobody wants.
Constant thorn in my side, being an accidental landlord of a house in a poor, DSS-heavy area. Every time the agent phones my stomach tenses expecting to hear it's been trashedOriginally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment
