Installing new PC for mother. Have set up remote support which should save me much frustration and many visits (assuming she can manage to double click the right icon).Originally posted by MaryPoppins View PostLooks like it might be a bit of a scorcher, so I'm going to skive off early shortly and spend the afternoon in the garden with my fave boy. Friends are visiting for the weekend so I reckon there will be food, wine, paddling pools and ice creams knocking about.
Watcha all up to then?
Parkrun tomorrow morning. Failed dismally last week, wussing out after 1 lap, so Must Try Harder.
No other plans. Perhaps a bit of gardening what with bush trimming being the topic of the day.Comment

Grandkids are certainly easier than than your own. You can just shout "Here, take this away, it needs changed or fed or something !"When freedom comes along, don't PISH in the water supply.....Comment

I know I'm officially old, because I now love gardening.Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

If only it was that easy, trying to put in a on-suite in the bedroom, need shower tray that will fit. Also moving toilet to under window, need one that will fit under window but not stick out too far, miss the new door.Originally posted by SimonMac View PostCan you not just pick a white one!
Plumber is still in feet and inches

Just did all of that remodelling in the BTL bathroom.Originally posted by alreadypacked View PostIf only it was that easy, trying to put in a on-suite in the bedroom, need shower tray that will fit. Here are some hints:
1. Use the corners if space is at a premium e.g. corner quadrant shower with sliding doors, corner sink. Makes a small space look much more spacious.
2. 800 mm corner quadrant shower is too small, you need a minimum of 900mm
3. A 55cm corner sink is plenty big enough.
Hope your plumber was as good as mine.Hard Brexit now!
