    I've had a zafira for 5 years now and it's been an immensely reliable car for the most part. flex seating with the rear most two seats folding completely flat and has an enormous boot.
    Having said that I'm now wanting something with sliding doors so the mazda 5 looks pefect.
    Also, the dodge grand caravan which got mentioned earlier is a great car. toured the US in one last year. seats and a huge boot. very nice

      The other US contender is the Chrysler Grand Voyager... Big car, almost van size. Very practical, huge number of features and even the rear seats can be arranged to face each other

                      Really? you're going against most of the motoring press with that statement.

                      Why didn't you just add the criteria of "car must be cool and I'm an inadequate badge snob" when you made your original post. It would have saved time
