Should we drop out of a few competitions and give the others a chance? It sounds the British thing to do.

Don't worry. The UCI will dream up new ways of stopping the British cyclists, even though their last attempts failed dismally. They'll dream up some nonsense; 'all bikes to be purchased in Halfords 2 hours before the race', or 'standard issue UCI bikes'. Or of course 'no magick, witchcraft or wizardry to be used in the production of wheels'.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostShould we drop out of a few competitions and give the others a chance? I wouldn't expect anything else from the Aussies; they're always full of tulip before a sporting event, but when they get beaten they usually say 'fair dinkum' and congratulate the winner.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostExcept the French.

I blame the departure of Steve Waugh. They've never been the same since.Originally posted by Mich the Tester View PostI wouldn't expect anything else from the Aussies; they're always full of tulip before a sporting event, but when they get beaten they usually say 'fair dinkum' and congratulate the winner. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment
