Are you seriously saying that you can't use a mobile phone on a golf course?
Serious question, BTW. I've never played golf.Cats are evil.Comment

Most clubs ban their use. The members themselves vote for it, so the great majority seem to prefer it that way. And not all clubs are stuffed with members who are hitlers.Originally posted by swamp View PostAre you seriously saying that you can't use a mobile phone on a golf course?

I love playing golf and dislike the associated BS but if it's someone else's trainset, they can decide how it is run. Lots of smaller clubs are struggling now and good chunk of this is due to the BS and new clubs which don't have this 'tude.
How hard is it to put a pair of pants/socks/tuck a shirt in and put a phone on silent - trust me you aren't so important you need it on.
On the mobile rule - lots of blokes want to be able to shut off the world = missus for a few hours and get some peace and this is thier only excuse to do so, that will account for some of the votes !!Comment
