Not a lot of people know this but I used to be a very good racewalker. I competed at county level at one stage and was within touching distance of making the team for the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh.
So, my shout is definitely for Vladimir Kanaykin of Russia who holds the world 20k Racewalking record at 1 hour 17 mins and 16 seconds.Comment
