New Zealand girls!
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014 -
Part of the area Ms Lee represents is Hunter's Corner, which has become notorious as a meeting place for prostitutes and their customers.
Bernie Taylor, a local resident, said: "We had a parcel delivered to us recently and the address was 'Hooker's Corner' and it found its way to us with no problems whatsoever."
Prostitution is legal in NZ but the part of town they are talking about is not a part of town I would recommend visiting at night. Or during the daytime either. -
So its not like the UK where the girls are the criminals then?Originally posted by Gonzo View PostProstitution is legal in NZComment

No. It's a perfectly legal way to make a living. It was decriminalised about ten years ago.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostSo its not like the UK where the girls are the criminals then?
There are people now objecting to street soliciting which in theory should be unnecessary because brothels are legal. The area mentioned in the story though is populated mainly by people of Polynesian origin on low incomes or benefits so probably don't have the resources to set one up, or don't care.
EDIT: They probably just want to pay for the service without having to pay for the surroundings.Last edited by Gonzo; 18 July 2012, 11:40.Comment
