            Thanks again, all. I nearly feel like creating a Facebook tribute page but then I may as well put myself down.

            We told YG1 (aged 4) last night that Puss was going to die today and she was distraught, then in denial with plans involving fairies and magic spells. By this morning she had plans to lure a kitten home. We'll leave it a few years until YG2 (aged 1) is a bit older.

            It won't be the same watching telly without him curled up asleep on my lap.
