You can avoid these issues by ensuring it's contractors vs permies, buying a round in the pub afterwards and putting it down as client entertainment.Originally posted by northernladuk View PostB) I can't think of anything that would make you look more like a hidden permie than joining the clients team games. Think of IR35 as you are flying down the wing. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

That's a good expression, I also like the ozzie one, "Like a crab with a busted head"Originally posted by Old Hack View PostIn my experience, women who play touch rugby, or its proper cousin, generally bat for the other side, and are generally of the species of women known to men as 'ugly as a bulldog chewing a wasp', so try to avoid at all cost.Comment

In my experience of playing football against women, it's them you've got to worry about. They try and put you off.Comment

Got through it without any misdemeanours and must say I enjoyed it. Not quite the same as playing League for a decent club back in the day but still pretty entertaining. I'm pretty fit but aching in places I didn't think I had muscles.
I've come to the conclusion though that women and rugby don't go, as 2 out of the 3 were too bothered about getting their hands dirty, and for a 'competative' person like me, was quite frustrating.
So no Sex Offenders register entry for me
