That actually makes me more of a tax offender than Mr Carr I guess?

Good luck to Mr Carr is what I think, it's his choice and perfectly legal so why do some people seem to have a problem with it?
You have completely missed the point. Most people on here are not rabid supporters of "tax and squander" whereas Mr carr is a champion of leftie "tax and squander" causes. he has made fun of/sneered at Barclays for tax avoidance. Its the hypocrisy that people are objecting to.

I was thinking more of Garden Gnomes for some reason. Probably because I was replying to one of your posts. I do wonder why you think that money is better spent on Garden Gnomes than schools & hospitals. Do you like Gnomes?

My point is really that your argument is hopelessly naive. Government may not spend the money the way you like but I don't think it's correct to assume as you do that it would be spent more wisely by private citizens, most of whom are easily bamboozled and ripped off.

While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

More to the point, how did his name come out? Surely 'Peak Performance' would not have released his name nor would I have thought Mr Carr would have openly admitted to being part of such a scheme.

What do I get for my 2 grand a month tax and NI.
I pay through the nose in taxes for everything I buy or do?
What about the police, fire, bins, education, the roads you use etc etc, its not that simple I'm afraid.

Not everyone is as sensible as you are about how they spend their money. I think that you should be the judge of what people buy. If there is anything you do not approve of then it can be defined as "tat". We can then stop people buying it (and presumably you will be the one that tells the factories that they can no longer manufacture "products you don't approve of"). You can then take the money off them to pay the workers in the factory (who have been laid off) to sit at home and do nothing.
