      Actually I think you will find that quite a few residents from brum have opted out of paying taxes... Not legally I will happily admit however they still had no tax bill...

        It does not count then, even if chances of them being caught are slim. If that's the case (like with uninsured drivers) it only means the state (UK) got no power to deal with tax cheats. This brings good question - can individuals/companies do the sort of tulip to "legally" avoid taxes in Germany like they do them here?
