There you go, at least I know what I was talking about.

Btw, the word I used was Paki.

Don't encourage them! There'll be thousands of Sioux, Crow and little frosty Eskimos trying to smuggle themselves in on lorries from Calais now!

        Lol!

Personally I think its harmless. Quite quaint in a way. Just saying that its best to be English; a sentiment that was commonplace when I was a kid.

What you used to know as England has long gone. Get used to it.

In that England, you would be tipping your cap to your betters (most of us on here) and stepping off the pavement into the gutter to let us pass. and you certainly wouldn't be allowed to voice an opinion in public you disgraceful lower class oik.

And a young kid is suppose to understand that Nationalist nonsense from the poem how?

Kids take things at face value.

I'm glad you have a sensible Missus who doesn't want your child labelled a racist at school or at the minimum embarrass you both in public.

Never did me any harm. I Loved the works of RL Stevenson as a kid. Also loved Lear - remember the Jumblies? They went to sea in a sieve they did, they went to sea in a sieve.

Times move on what was acceptable when you were young isn't always acceptable now.

They also used to send children up chymneys and down the mines and worked them for 12 hours a day. I suppose you want to bring that back too.
How about the workhouse for children and debtors prison?
How about No rights in the workplace with the law on the side of the employer and the landowners.

or are you being very selective.

I pitty your child and am relieved that your wife at least has some common sense (although not enough to prevent her from choosing you) I sincerely hope that your childs personality favours the mother and not the simple minded thoughtless bigotted father it has been saddled with
