If you lean the bike against some railings or other public place unlocked, you'll probably find it gone within an hour.

What size is it or what age?Originally posted by k2p2 View PostStuck son's bike in Freeads for £15. Practically new, kid never took to it. Didn't get any takers, and want rid of the thing, so relisted it as a free item.
Got a call today.
Him "Where are you?"
Me: "Near Farnborough"
Him: "I'm in Milton Keynes"
Me: "Oh, that's a long way"
Him: "So when can you deliver it?"
WTF? I think I'll just take the thing to the tip. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

Why not take it to a charity shop? I'd have thought there are plenty of parents who are a bit hard up right now but could do with a cheap bike for their kids. And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment

Had a guy win a bid for a car I sold on ebay once. He emailed me to say he wasnt happy because I hadn't told him I wasn't in Kent where he was (WTF - seller location is there for all to see?)
Anyway, then he said I'd have to knock £50 off because he'd have to get on the train. Bollax said I but I'll pick you up from the train station.
Picked the guy up who told me he'd bought a single train ticket, then tried to hassle me for £50 off again. Ummm - not being funny but you're not exactly in a strong bargaining position when you've got no way to get home! That was funny.
So he paid up in full eventually (although he did moan again that the car was smaller than he thought - WTF again?) and then asked me how to get back to Kent. I gave him directions to the M4 but that wasn't good enough. He had no idea the M4 went to London, had no idea where the M25 went etc. In the end, told him to follow the M4 to London then turn right.
Wonder if he ever got home.....Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment
