I'd probably say £100ph if I didn't need the work, this is not overboard for niche work anyway.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

I get quite a few of these, also because I seem to be the only person in EMEA with certain skills, therefore I charge higher rates, around the €100-€150 per hour, plus expenses depending where it is (i.e. for the Swiss at least CHF500 expenses per day cos its so bloody expensive)“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

I've never worked for the client before. Not sure whether I can do it in my timezone or need to do it in theirs - if it's theirs then it's going to be VERY expensive.Originally posted by administrator View Post1) How often do you work for this client?
2) What is your usual hourly rate?
If long-term client who give me lots of regular work then it would be regular rates. If it needing doing overnight I would put a 50% premium on it.
If it was a client who I hadn't spoken to for seven years then it would probably be double the usual rate. I wouldn't do more than that personally. I am a nice guy but I still wouldn't ever do more than an hour or so free - even that amount of time makes me think I am more of a mug than a nice guy
I asked a couple of guys I used to work with if they were more up to date than I, but no-one is owning up to it.
All the client has said is "we're prepared to pay a premium rate", but time to start talking real figures.Comment
