I like it when the sun comes out for a bloody change. Until a few week ago temperatures were struggling to reach double digits and people were starting to build Arks around here.

Yeah, it sounds as if my A/C is not functioning properly. I gave it a long test yesterday and it was pretty useless. May not be worth fixing if summer is going to be like last year...Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostGet it recharged.
I am not a mechanic though so don't blame me if it blows up or something.Comment

How is it
that people find something to moan about even when nice things happen, like the the sun coming out for a change. This thread was meant to celebrate the sun, blue skies and few storms and yet people manage to moan about moaning.
Anyone sporting sunburn from yesterday? I think I may have discovered that the 'factor 30' sun cream sold by Poundland loses its potency after a year stood on a shelf. Maybe shaking the bottle will help.Comment

I'm reminded of standing in a porch aged somewhere between 3 and 5 wondering how far one could make sense of "s/he* said that s/he said that s/he said..." and wondering how many levels down one could go. Or perhaps it was "s/he though s/he thought..." or something similar. Not that I'm implying your mental age is 3 or anything.Originally posted by OwlHoot View PostHey stop moaning about moaning about moaning!

Okay, there is no limit to the numbers of nested moaning abouts possible (no limit to moaning), try it with "s/he said, s/he said...". How deep can you go?Originally posted by k2p2 View PostHey stop moaning about moaning about moaning about moaning!

Humans like 23 C best allegedly. I wonder where is the most temperate climate on Earth. Up a mountain near the equator possibly, or near a cool body of water.Originally posted by norrahe View PostI'm meeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll lting

So pleased we have a/c at home.....Sorry?Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostNo one has complained about the weather in this thread, perhaps you should provide an example or quit moaning about moaning.
"What a scorcher" is not a complaint btw, it's a salute to a famous Sun headline.Comment

Even my wife is starting to complain. I think her best months are Spring, Autumn and Winter...
She'll hate the 4 weeks in Poitou-Charentes in AugustComment
