Perfumes are a love (and a bit of an Obsession ) for me.
Mr's D is the same. She has a large collection.

Also of shoes & handbags (and clothes)

Oh! and now 2 outfit matching laptop bags

And She steals my wardrobe space

And is she sultry or spring-like?

And what do you class as expensive?

      Sultry:
      Givenchy Very Irrisistable

      Spring-like:
      Jo Malone Orange Blossom

For cheaper but still nice perfumes go to a L'Occitane shop near you and have a sniff around, the shop assistants are lovely in there and will be appry to help.

If she's asking for perfume on a first date then some chav-spray sounds quite appropriate. I reckon George has confused 'a looker' for fake tan and hair+nail extensions.

      You're either rich or desperate.

How would I know what her scent is?
That's why you shouldn't be buying her anything.

In real life, seriously what kind of person would ask for a present for a date? Unless of course the man says "pleeeeeeease go on a date with me, I'll buy you something nice"...

I have 2 drawers full of them. Xmas and birthday presents.

          and a possible fire hazard.

I'm still using the Aramis, Brut and Denim aftershaves I was bought about 15 years ago

            Hey d00g,

This is never going to end in marriage, its just a bit fun. If I dont spend the money on her it will be on something else... anyway, I'll proabbly lose interest after the 'back for coffee' bit. And I wont lose interest because I'm that kind of guy, but because she's that kind of girl.

            fun fun fun

Avoid buying perfumes, you'll never get it right.

You don't know if she's classy ( then will prefer expensive perfumes) or brassy ( anything high street with an actresses/pop stars name on it).

Its also a first date and if she's dropping hints about gifts already............
