It was a coalition. A hamstrung ineffective Tory government is no measure of an unfettered glorious beast we shall see spread its wings and soar in the next 5 years.Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras. -

Something even the party pretending to be the Tory party won't deliverSocialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.Comment

Tbh it doesn't really matter. The next economic downturn (which we are due) is going to wipe us out. And it's too late to do anything about it. Hopefully this time there is a proper crash. I do actually own a home. And would be happy to see house prices fall 50%, no problem. Interest rates at 16% no problem.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostYou are aware Labour have something of a reputation of overspending?Comment

TBH rates at 5% would probably screw most people over. The point I was making, is that for me 16% would not be a problem.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostAh the Thatcher ideologies. Nice work!
Rates at 5% would be great. But we are a few years away from that I think unless the £ well and truly tanks.Comment
