they should exit and go back to the Drachma - you know pretty sure things will be okay.

which may then mean a few other countries will do the same

we never asked for a European government but the fact that they represent Europeans on a world stage seems to imply we have one.

    I am oot

6 months of pain then bliss. Like Iceland.

In 2 years time they could be borrowing money again!

The are certainly conforming to the left wing stereotype of running out of other peoples money
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

"CrowdFunding a bailout fund for Greece. By the people, for the people. "

If their debt was wiped out, it would not solve the Greek problem. Its an uncompetitive country. It needs to devalue. Or drastically reduce spending and increase tax revenues.

If all the money in the world was shared out equally, in 6 months there would be super rich and impoverished. The Greeks would still be poor.
