          An Iconic Classic For Sale (1965) on Car And Classic UK

          it's a tad over the 5k but its getting harder to find one in that bracket now. still, not bad for a true classic.

            Is that the car Connery was referring to Doodab?

                    <swoon>
                    The black one looks nice but to restore its value you would have to restore its black bumpers, and to stop getting pulled over you would have to restore its plastic number plates

                    Keep these things as original as possible!

                      Years ago a girlfriend showed me her sister's TR5 - sister had emigrated and wanted to know whether she'd "get a grand for it" - it was mint with a very low mileage; like a dougnut because I wanted to get my little end away, instead of saying "no, but here's £800 to show willing" I said that she'd get much more than a grand for it. She sold it a couple of weeks later for £7500, and that was back in the eighties!! I did get my end away, but at what a price!!
