“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.” -
I have been to Amsterdam a few times - and generally I did not really feel it was full of stoned people - yeah obviosly it is freely available so some were stoned but.. I prefer that to pissed up knobheads.
Although I do recall laughing at some fans when the Euros were held there - half of them were asleep in their seats watching the footy no doubt a cause of too much bear n cheeba!!Comment

I think you'll find that the drunken idiots are on the Leidseplein and throwing up all over the pavement around the red light district. You see the stoned chavs hovering around the shops near centraal station but if you know which areas to stay away from then hamsterjam isn't bad.Originally posted by original PM View PostI have been to Amsterdam a few times - and generally I did not really feel it was full of stoned people - yeah obviosly it is freely available so some were stoned but.. As an upstanding EU citizen I should be OK then?Originally posted by darmstadt View PostAs far as I know it doesn't affect those of us who live in Germany (or Belgium), just drunken chavvy Brits (and smelly French)Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

This is stupid. Now the tourists will have to buy drugs at the Central Station and anywhere in the Jordaan.<Insert idea here> will never be adopted because the politicians are in the pockets of the banks!Comment

Last time I went the taxi driver that picked me up from the station gave me his card saying he could get anything I want and the streets are full of people looking for some guy called Charlie.Originally posted by petergriffin View PostThis is stupid. The best legal drugs in Amsterdam are the strong mushrooms you can get. Much more fun than getting heavily stoned if you are not used to it.Comment
