Top advice. Rented a cottage in RoW last year and did this. Amazing perspective from the river and from the Yat. Saw soem nesting Goshawks too, which was a bonus.

It's a fab country - you'll love it. It's a few years since I went but it was chav free, mostly because no loud yanks

I haven't been away for a holiday for ages, but I've been building up the warchest and so will treat myself to South of France in June/July.

I haven't decided whether I will personally cycle, motorbike, drive or fly myself there. Or do all four.

Bike, helicopter or yacht. The traffic round there sucks.
