    How come no-one has mentioned Hitler?

    He came very close to invading and if he hadn't cocked up with invading Russia and if he had held the Japanese back from attacking America, he may well have done it.

        Possibly because Hitler wanted to join Britain in ruling the world.

        And IMO Hitler made a bigger mistake in switching from bombing airfields to bombing the East End.
